Created in March of 2003, 'Sunday Morning Coffee' is surprisingly a self portrait. The piece was created with prismacolor pencils and designed by layering still life to form a single realistic image from the observer's viewpoint. Enhancing the piece is the varying range of textures from the the smooth ceramic cup to the shiny metal spoon and the liquid velvety coffee. This piece has a different perspective on an the usual model portrait.
